Embed newsletter forms for subscription and unsubscription with optional additional fields such as salutation, name, city, or date of birth.
The content type Newsletter builds a subscription, unsubscription, or forwarding form for an external newsletter service. Through the settings, you select the service account and define which fields the form requests.
In the editor of a page, shopping world, or building block, click + New, then in the Content tab click Newsletter. The “New Newsletter Form” dialog opens.
Using Form = Unsubscription, you create a separate unsubscription form, e.g., for the footer navigation or the privacy policy page.
You receive the access credentials (Account, Login, Password, Segment) from the provider of your newsletter system. Please store them securely and do not note them in the description.
Only activate the additional fields that you truly need. Every mandatory field lowers the completion rate of the form.
