The content type Image Galleries bundles multiple images into a gallery with thumbnails. Users can click through the images and optionally open them in fullscreen view. You define maximum sizes for images and thumbnails.

Selecting the content type

In the editor of a page, Shopping World, or a building block, click + New, then in the Content tab click Image Galleries. The “New Image Gallery” dialog opens.

Managing images

The individual images become accessible only after the first Save. Afterwards, open the image gallery via Edit. Above the General block, the Images section appears with the following toolbar:

Uploading images

Clicking + New opens the “Upload multiple images” dialog. Click the upload area or drag images onto it via drag & drop. Use Start upload to begin the upload, and Clear list to remove all images from the upload list.

Tips

The order in the Images list determines the order of the gallery on the website.
Using the max. image and thumbnail values, the system automatically scales down uploaded images. This saves loading time without having to manually reduce the originals.
