The content type Collection displays the entries of a collection on a page. Optionally, you can restrict the display to specific collection groups and define the number of entries per page (pagination).

Selecting the content type

In the editor of a page, shopping world, or building block, click + New, then in the Collection tab click Collection. The “Link collection” dialog opens.

As long as no collection type is selected, the Collection groups section does not appear. Only after selecting a type can the associated groups be displayed.

Collection groups

Appears as soon as a collection type is selected. Here you see all groups defined in the selected collection, each as a toggle. Active groups are displayed on the page.
If all toggles remain off, all entries of the collection are displayed. Enabled toggles act as a filter for specific groups.

Tips

Use Number of entries per page to keep the page short. With more entries, pagination appears automatically.
For categorical overview pages, combine multiple collection contents on one page and set a different filter for each, e.g. a page with promotions per topic area.
