The content type Collection Preview displays a single collection entry, a list of multiple entries, or a calendar as a preview. From the preview element, you link to the detail page that contains the complete collection.

Selecting the content type

In the editor of a page, shopping world, or building block, click + New, then in the Collection tab click Collection Preview. The “Link Collection Preview” dialog opens.

As long as no collection type is selected, the Page with collection list and Select collection fields as well as the Collection groups section are missing. These only appear after a type has been selected.

Collection groups

Appears as soon as a collection type is selected. Here you see all groups defined in the selected collection, each as a toggle. Active groups filter the preview.

Tips

Single Collection is suitable for teasers to a specific entry (e.g. a single guide article as a highlight). Collection List displays multiple entries side by side. Collection Calendar is useful for appointments and events.
Create the Page with collection list beforehand (with a regular Collection as content). The preview then automatically links to this page.
