Goal: a code that, when redeemed, adds a specific item free of charge to the order, for example from a minimum order value.

Create coupon code with value type Item

Open the Coupon Codes list, select New and maintain the Code and Description. Set the Value Type to Item.For details, see Create Coupon Codes.

Generate coupon lines

Select Generate Coupon Lines and define:
  • Configuration: prefix/suffix and number of lines.
  • Coupon Type: in the Item No. field, select the item to be added free of charge.
  • Conditions: if required, From Amount as the minimum order value.
  • Validity: optionally Start/End Date.
Confirm with OK.

Activate

Activate the codes when generating them or later via Release Coupon.
When redeemed, the selected item is added to the order free of charge.
