Create a webshop campaign 2plus1

Here we will show you how to set up various webshop campaigns. Basically, webshop campaigns can be used to create certain promotions that contain and relate to the assigned items.

These items can be differentiated between promotion and condition elements. Promotion elements are items that are given for free to the customer or offered at a reduced price if a certain condition is met. On the other hand, condition elements are items that must be placed in a shopping basket in order for a corresponding promotion to be valid.

Any number of campaigns can be created per webshop. These campaigns can contain any number of items. Also an item can appear in any number of campaigns.

In this example we are creating a 2plus1 campaign or in other words: buy two items and get one for free.

Step 1: Open the Webshop Campaigns

Navigate to the Webshop Campaigns by searching for ‘Webshop Campaigns’.

Step 2: Create a webshop campaign

To create a campaign, you need to click on the fast tab ‘New’. This will take you to the Webshop Campaign. Here you navigate to the menu ‘Allgemein’.

In our example we want to create a ‘2plus1 campaign’ as already mentioned. For this exemplary configuration we choose the following settings:

  • Code: 2PLUS1
  • Webshop Code: B2C-Demo
  • Webshop Language Code: ENU
  • Description: 2 plus 1
  • Active: Check the box

Step 3: Define the conditions

In order to be able to define certain condition elements for the promotion, simply click on menu ‘Konditionen’.

In our example we want a customer who has bought two copies of the same webshop item to receive a third copy free of charge with his order. For this configuration, we write a 2 in the ‘Qty. single item min.’ field.

Step 4: Define the condition elements

To define an item as a condition element, you need to click on the menu ‘Condition Elements’. Here you can insert the items to which a later selected promotion is applied. Scroll to the end of the menu ‘Condition Elements’ to add a new item there. Click on the first empty row and in the column ‘Item No.’ to go to the Webshop Item List.

Here you select the desired item. In our example the ‘Classic 800ml Sport Cap – Brushed Stainless’ with the Item No. ‘1015’. In addition, select Include in the field ‘Include/ Exclude’, which will include the respective item in the promotion.

Alternatively, you can select ‘Exclude’, which will exclude the article from the promotion.

Step 5: Define a promotion

A promotion can be defined via the menu item ‘Aktion’

In our example we want that if you buy two pieces of the selected condition item, a third copy is added to the order automatically and for free. For this configuration we choose the following settings:

  • Type free item: Current condition-item
  • Qty. Free Item: 1,00

Please note that there cannot be a 0 in the "Qty. Free Item" field, otherwise if you buy 2 copies of the condition article, all additionally added webshop items would be added to the order free of charge!

Step 6: Synchronize the campaign

To synchronize the campaign with the webshop system, simply click on the fast tab ‘Synchronize Campaign’. This will update all the campaigns that have been changed since the last update.

All changes will also be update with the next update of all data.
