Shipping Costs - Personal Delivery Setup

Step 1

First, create a new shipping zone for the desired zip code area.
In our example we call the shipping zone "GB-PERS" and give the name "Great Britain regional delivery".

Step 2

For the newly created shipping zone, we now create a new enclosing line for the desired postal code area.
For larger areas, a wildcard can be used after any number of characters.
In our example we use the postal code area "CV6 1 *".
In addition, we will create an exclusionary line for a specific postal code of the previously defined area to which we do not wish to perform any personal delivery.
In our example we use the postal code "CV6 1GZ".

Step 3

Next, we will create a new shipping option for personal delivery. In our example, we use the term "personal delivery". To link the new shipping option to our shipping zone, you must select our newly created shipping zone "GB-PERS" in the column "Shipping Zones Code".
If desired, the shipping option can now be provided with shipping costs, in our example, we offer the personal delivery for free.

Step 4

If the customer has now deposited an appropriate delivery address in the order, our new delivery option "Personal delivery" is automatically offered for selection for the order and can be inserted as a line.
