Coupon Codes - Basic Setup

After installing the extension "dynamic commerce coupon codes" you will find the basic setup via the search in the web client.

Coupon Posting Acc. No.

Here you can select an G/L Account where the value Coupons will be posted to.

Coupon Journal Template

Here you can select the Copon Journal Template with wich your value Coupons will be posted.

Coupon Journal Name

Here you can select the Journal Name with which your value Coupon will be posted.

Posting Type Coupons

You can use the posting type to specify how coupons should be added to orders.

Here you have the choice between:

• G/L Account
• Resource
• Item
• Charge

After the selection you can choose the corresponding Sales No. in the field Sales No. Coupon Discount.

VAT-Tag 1 to VAT-Tag 3

In this fields you can select the 3 Vat Product Posting Groups for the different VAT Types in your Country.
Based on this VAT Types the coupon amount get splitted in the order.

Sales No. Coupon Discount 1 to 3

In this field you can select the Sales No. based on the Posting Type selection for the 3 different vat types wich gets inserted in an order line if you insert a coupon code. If there are more then 1 vat group present in the order the coupon amount gets split up based on the different item amounts.
